Jonathan Kuminga Reveals His Preferred Destination In A Trade From the Warriors

There have been many ongoing stories in the NBA this offseason, but perhaps none have been more intriguing than the Jonathan Kuminga situation in Golden State. Thus far, the team has reportedly offered him a two-year, $45 million deal, however, given the role they've added to that offer, he clearly wants to find a fresh start in the league.

There are now several teams interested in the talented 22-year-old. Yet, any talks so far with the Warriors about a potential trade have amounted to nothing, as the situation develops with Kuminga looking for a new home.

Now, ESPN have dropped an update on the situation, revealing that of all the teams interest in potentially trading for him, Kuminga's preferred destination is the Sacramento Kings.

Over the past two seasons, Kuminga has averaged 25 minutes a night, but clearly feeling as though he's bound for a bigger role in the NBA, the Kings could accommodate that, as he looks to take the next step as a player.

In trade speculation this off-season, Sacramento has been one of the teams pushing hard to land Kuminga, as they believe he'd be a fantastic addition to a core of Domantas Sabonis, Keegan Murray, DeMar DeRozan, and Zach LaVine.

As of right now however, it's unclear if the Warriors will budge on their stance, with the Suns also pushing hard to land Kuminga in competition with Sacramento, but if the 22-year old had his way, he would be playing with the Kings next season.
