Keyonte George Makes Major Prediction About The Utah Jazz In 2026/27
Apr 14, 2026
Ever since the departures of Donovan Mitchell and Rudy Gobert, the Utah Jazz have been in rebuilding mode, and after finishing 22-60 and in last place in the West this season, they don't appear closer to turning things around. As of right now, they've got the fourth best odds at the No. 1 overall pick in the 2026 NBA Draft, but to land an elite prospect could change the entire future of this franchise.
Currently, the starting lineup has plenty of potential, with Keyonte George, Ace Bailey, Lauri Markkanen, Jaren Jackson Jr. and Walker Kessler making up a very solid starting 5. Whether or not they land a top pick in the 2026 draft, the future looks bright, and according to star point guard Keyonte George, fans should start seeing some team success beginning in 2026/27.
When asked about the teams chances at making the playoffs in a loaded Western Conference, the 22-year old was full of confidence, with no doubts in his mind that they will be a playoff team.
“For sure, no doubts about it.”
On paper, this isn't a bad starting lineup, and with the experience that both George and Bailey earned this year along with the addition of JJJ, they could be a fairly competitive squad a year from now.

Ultimately though, their lottery luck may play a huge role in their future, but for now, with George leading the way, it's easy to see where this optimism comes from.
