Amazon Prime Set To Release Documentary On the Life Of Former NBA Star Allen Iverson

Allen Iverson is one of the most intriguing personalities and players that the NBA has ever seen, as his legacy in the league will live on for a long time to come. From the iconic style to the trademark crossover, nobody in NBA history did it quite like AI, with fans across many generations revering the Philadelphia 76ers star.

His story is an amazing one too, and now, Amazon Prime is seemingly set to capitalize on that, as they've announced 'Allen Iv3rson,' a brand new documentary series based on the star guard.

According to Prime Video, the original series will begin next month on October 23, and while little is known about the series, given what we know of Iverson's life before, during, and after the NBA, there's plenty of intriguing content for fans. For younger fans, this will be a great insight into one of the league's greatest all-time characters, with the one-time MVP battling through plenty to become the superstar that history will remember him as.

Throughout his career, Iverson averaged an incredible 27 points a night on the floor, with his crowning MVP season in 2000–01 seeing him put up 31 points for the first of three times in his career, matching some of the greatest scorers in league history.

As for the upcoming Prime series, it's unclear how much of it will cover his career and how much will cover what happened off the court, but either way, for NBA fans, this should be a must-see.
