Carmelo Anthony Reveals His All-Time NBA Starting Lineup

Fans and former players around the NBA have their favourites, and getting to name and support them is one of the key pillars of being a fan. GOAT takes are all different, and so is the best lineup of all time discussion, with many fans putting together their dream lineups of all-time.

Now, former Nuggets and Knicks icon Carmelo Anthony has been tasked to do the same, with the Hall of Famer making some very intriguing picks.

"Derrick Rose
Allen Iverson
Tracy McGrady
Kevin Garnett
Shaquille O'Neal"

Surprisingly, Anthony didn't put himself on the list, but the talent that he did are among the best of all-time, with a healthy D-Rose-AI backcourt potentially being the most talented we've ever seen.

On top of that, he's got one of the most dominant front courts of all-time, with both KG and Shaq seen as two of the most dominant players in their positions in NBA history. The one theme of Anthony's all-time lineup however is injuries, with both Rose and McGrady's prime's cut short due to injury, but on paper at their best, all five of these players could absolutely dominate.

Unsurprisingly, fans in the comments were torn on some of Anthony's picks, especially leaving out his good friend LeBron James, but at the end of the day, Anthony has a great insight into choosing his team. Ultimately, debates like this will rage on for years to come, with fans and former players continuing to make lists like this one, but for Anthony, it's one of the most unique starting lineups we've ever seen on an all-time list.
