"That Ain't Your Game!": Viral Clip Shows Moses Moody Talking Trash To Draymond Green In Pickup Game
Sep 8, 2025
In the NBA, few are as proficient at talking trash as Draymond Green. It's surprising, then, to see someone get the better of the Golden State Warriors star in a verbal exchange.
This was the scene that unfolded in a viral clip posted by the X account warriorsworld on Wednesday. In the clip, Green is taking part in a summer run with Warriors teammate Moses Moody. Green, who has just a single-inch advantage in height, tries to post up Moody but fails to get a great shot off, resorting instead to calling a foul.
"That ain't your game!" Moody yells in the clip.
After the two exchange words, Green attempts to post up Moody once again. With Moody holding his ground, Green puts up a Dirk Nowitzki-like fadeaway but ends up airballing the shot.
Much-Needed Fire From Moody
While this verbal joust between the two teammates is in the context of a pickup game, Green was likely happy to see Moody firing up on the defensive end. While the former Arkansas standout was on the Warriors lineup when they last won the NBA championship in 2022, Moody has barely stood out in terms of defensive impact or offensive production.
In particular, Moody's numbers over the past four years don't exactly pop out of the stat sheet. During his rookie year, the 6-foot-5 wing averaged 4.4 points, 1.5 rebounds, and 0.4 assists in 11.7 minutes of play. Last season, Moody's minutes went up to 22.3 mpg, but his numbers are a less-than-stellar 9.8 ppg, 2.6 rpg, and 1.3 apg.

As for the defensive end, Moody hasn't exactly developed a reputation as a reliable stopper that head coach Steve Kerr can deploy on an opposing team's best perimeter scorer. Still, Warriors fans are hopeful that Moody will take the leap sooner rather than later, whether as an offensive force or as a defensive asset.
Green, meanwhile, has shown no signs of letting up on his prolific trash talk, something he has been known for since the beginning of his career. He has also gone on record as saying that he doesn't hesitate to push his teammates' buttons, in order to get the best out of them.
The four-time All-Star has three more rings than Moody, and if Warriors fans had their way, Green's inexhaustible supply of energy will rub off on the up-and-coming forward. In that regard, Moody's decision to talk back to Green in that viral clip is an excellent sign.
