NBA Insider Reveals The Latest On Steph Curry's Return Timeline

Coming into this season, some had very high hopes for the Golden State Warriors, but with drama behind the scenes, inconsistencies and injuries, this isn't a team that looks like an NBA Championship contender. As of right now, the team sit at 33-36 on the season, and with the way the Western Conference is shaping up, they're all but guaranteed to fill either the No. 9 or 10 seed in the standings when the regulra season is over.

After Jimmy Butler went down, their hopes took a major hit, but following that, the team also lost their leader Steph Curry, who hasn't played in a game for the Warriors since late January, appearing in just 39 games all season long. Many feared that with the way the season is playing out, Curry could miss the remainder of the year, but now, ESPN's Shams Charania has provided a very positive update on No. 30.

According to Charania, there is 'cautious optimism' in Golden State over Curry's status, with some believing that if everything goes right, the superstar point guard could potentially be returning before the end of March, which would be a major boost.

Even at his best though, there's a chance that Curry may not be able to help this team when he returns given the moves they made at the trade deadline and the other injuries around this team, but given what we've seen, there's always hope with Steph on the floor.
