Malik Beasley Hints On Social Media That His Free Agency Decision Is Near

Malik Beasley's summer has been a whirlwind thus far, but as of right now, it appears he's out of the woods with the gambling investigation he found himself at the centre of. That has opened him up to signing a new deal in the NBA, and while it likely won't be as big as the one he could have signed earlier this summer, he's still a highly sought after player.

As a result, he's drawn interest from Detroit, Cleveland, New York and others, but as of right now, we've heard little about his preferences and where the 28-year old may end up as a free agent. We may not need to wait much longer however, as Beasley teased on social media that his decision is near, with his signing potentially one that could change the fortunes of a team this off-season.

Last season with Detroit, Beasley averaged 16 points a night on 42% shooting from three, seeing him finish second in Sixth Man of the Year voting. Add into that a solid post-season series against the Knicks, and it's no surprise that he's drawing interest from several contenders around the league, all of which will likely see him coming off the bench in 2025/26.

Now, Beasley will have to decide between playing a smaller role on a potential NBA title contender or playing a bigger role for a team with a limited ceiling, but whatever his decision, based on his social media post, we'll soon find out his future.
