Former Warrior Champion Believes LeBron is the GOAT

Who is the greatest basketball player of all time? It's a question that seemingly gets debated every day among hoops fans, and the answer will never be clear. Most of the debate has come down to two guys: LeBron James and Michael Jordan. Who you think of better often lies with your age, team fandom, and style preferences.

One thing is for sure, though, for Warriors fans, it’s hard to call LeBron the GOAT. During the Warriors' recent dynasty, LeBron was the consistent enemy. He was also extremely beatable. Warriors fans watched LeBron fall three separate times in the NBA Finals to their GOAT, Stephen Curry.

Some people think that because LeBron was able to beat such a great team in 2016 and at least put up a fight in 2015, 2017, and 2018 against the Warriors, he should be given some credit. A Warriors fan and former NBA player himself, Juan Toscano Anderson recently revealed who he thinks is the GOAT, and his answer was surprising.

"I've been a Warriors fan my whole entire life. So, watching him compete against that dynasty, people say that that was the best team of all time. He took that team to the wire pretty much by himself."

JTA has a valid argument about LeBron's greatness. That being said, he also played his most successful basketball alongside Stephen Curry. Knowing that Curry has the same number of championships (in fewer seasons played) as LeBron during the era that supposedly LeBron dominated should be a demerit on LeBron’s GOAT argument.
