NBA Insider Calls Out Luka Doncic For Being 'Unwatchable'

Ever since arriving in the NBA, Luka Doncic has been one of the leagues best players, and after averaging 29 points per game across an 8-year career, he's solidified himself as a top-tier scorer in league history. Then, he was dealt to the Los Angeles Lakers, and since then, he's taken on much more responsibility, while drawing much more attention and criticism from fans and analysts alike.

While his numbers still look great in 2025/26 (33 PPG, 8 RPG, 9 APG), the Lakers have been very up-and-down when healthy, but now, the criticism continues. Recently, NBA Insider Zach Lowe revealed his true opinion of Doncic, and while he's still very talented, Lowe echoed the opinion of fans that Luka has become 'unwatchable'.

“It’s every f*cking play! Just play man! Not everything is a foul. Are you playing to draw a foul or playing basketball? Which one are you doing? Are you playing 1 on 1 with the refs? It’s every possession now. It’s completely out of control. It’s unwatchable.”

While this isn't a problem that's unique to Doncic, given his high profile nature and the clear offensive talent, many simply think he's taken it too far and could do much more without the constant foul-baiting and complaining.

There's definitely still time for Doncic to change these antics that have defined him in recent years, especially since his arrival in Los Angeles, but if he keeps it up, he risks ruining his stellar reputation entirely.
