Warriors Face Pacers Without Curry to Try and Get Season Back on Track
Nov 10, 2025
The Golden State Warriors had a rough couple of weeks. They started the season off red hot and then hit a rough patch where they lost winnable games to the Milwaukee Bucks, the Indiana Pacers, and the Sacramento Kings. They also lost to the Denver Nuggets in a game without Stephen Curry.
In fact, Curry missed the last three Warriors games due to an illness. However, on Sunday, the Warriors had a chance to show what they could do without their star against a hobbled Pacers team.
The Pacers were without Pascal Siakam as well as multiple other key role players. However, the Warriors have been somewhat cursed playing the Pacers at home, meaning this very winnable game could be a trap. The Pacers have yet to lose in the Chase Center.

That is, until the Warriors whooped them on Sunday. The Warriors took care of business against the Pacers, winning 114-83. The Warriors were led by Jimmy Butler, who had 21 points, nine rebounds, and seven assists, but the win was a total group effort.
They got double-digit scoring from six different players in the game, including great performances from Quinten Post and rookie Will Richard.
What was most promising about the Warriors' win was their defensive performance. After a few tough losses, the Warriors' veterans and coaches mentioned that their defense was to blame for some of their disappointing performances.
They bounced back by holding the Pacers to only 83 points and only 34% from the field. If the Warriors can keep up playing elite defense like this, they should be able to bounce back from the last few rough games.
