Terance Mann Ready To Break Out in New Role with the Brooklyn Nets

Terance Mann was a second-round pick of the Los Angeles Clippers back in the 2019 NBA Draft, and in his career with the team, he's been a consistent force off the bench. After six seasons with the team, he was traded to the Atlanta Hawks last season, and in the summer, he was acquired by the Nets in a three-team deal that saw Atlanta land star centre Kristaps Porzingis.

While Mann likely wanted to be on a contending team, he's opened up on the opportunity ahead of him in Brooklyn, looking on the bright side as he reveals he's ready to finally break out in a new role.

“I’m in my prime right now and ready to show the world what I’ve really got outside this role I’ve been playing for the last six seasons.”

In his 412 games in the NBA thus far, Mann has only started in 169 of them, averaging just 22 minutes a night in that time, but with playing time wide open with the Nets, he's optimistic he can finally reach his potential. Back in 2021/22, Mann averaged 11 points a night, the most in his NBA career to date, but at 28-years of age, he's going to get the chance to finally be a starter in Brooklyn, and he's confident he can take that chance and thrive.

Only time will tell how much opportunity Mann will get with the likes of Cam Thomas and Michael Porter Jr. on the team, but with the confidence and the skills that he has, don't be surprised to see career high numbers across the board.
