NBA Legend Charles Barkley Calls Out The NBA For Not Caring About Their Fans
Sep 3, 2025
This off-season has been a busy one for the NBA, and with plenty of changes around the league, the anticipation is building well for the 2025/26 campaign.
Unfortunately, some of those changes weren't positive ones, as the NBA announced their broadcasting partners for the season. In that announcement, we found out that it will take fans purchasing more than three streaming services to watch all the games they'd like, once again meaning that the cost to watch the league continues to rise.
Of course, most fans weren't happy with that situation, but to watch the league that they love, there are very few other options out there. Now, one person has stood up and called the league out, as NBA legend Charles Barkley discussed the changes with Bill Simmons, making a very clear statement on Adam Silver and the NBA.
"They don't give a s**t about the fans."
These are very valid concerns to raise from Charles Barkley, as fans will now need to dish out $15 a month or more in some cases on several different streaming services just to watch the NBA. That's something that should never happen in sports, with Silver's greed clearly showing as the league prioritizes profits over the fans.
Only time will tell if the league eventually decides to consolidate onto one platform like they have in seasons past, but for now it's a terrible look for the league, and one that Barkley was all too happy to call out.
