Los Angeles Clippers Asking Price For Ivica Zubac Officially Revealed
Jan 21, 2026
The Los Angeles Clippers were incredibly slow out of the gates in 2025–26, but with a record of 13–3 over their past 16 games, the team is now sitting at 19–24 on the season. That's still not enough to have them close to the postseason in the loaded Western Conference, but as of right now, Head Coach Ty Lue and the organization are hopeful they can still turn things around.
However, in the case that they can't stay this hot, it's been widely assumed throughout the league that they could become sellers ahead of the 2026 trade deadline. One player that could land the Clippers some big-time assets is big man Ivica Zubac, and now, we know what the team is looking to get out of him in a trade.
According to reporter Brett Siegel, the Clippers are seeking not one but two first-round picks in any deal for Zubac, and while that may seem rich, given his growth in recent years, there's a playoff team out there that could pay up to that price. This season, the 28-year-old is averaging 15 points and 11 rebounds per game, and while he's not a massive star in the league, he could be a very good third option for many teams in the NBA.

Ultimately, if the Clippers stay hot, there's a chance that they don't deal one of their top assets, but if they do, they're looking to get a major haul in return for him as they potentially pivot moving forward.
