"She Is Not For The BS": WNBA Analyst Fires Off Warning After Chicago Signs Skylar Diggins

On and off the court, Skylar Diggins is an accomplished veteran. Diggins knows how to get things done, whether that’s with a winning basketball program or a sports management company founded by Jay-Z.

So, it’s only fitting that a WNBA team securing her services will realize the full extent of what they’re getting. Especially if that team doesn’t have a flawless track record when it comes to handling top assets.

After news broke of the Chicago Sky signing the seven-time All-Star for the 2026 WNBA season, podcaster and betting analyst Trysta Krick had a stern message for GM Jeff Pagliocca and his team: buckle up. Or, perhaps, shape up.

“Do you think she [Diggins] will put up with a shred of b***sh*t on the Chicago Sky?” Krick said in a video uploaded this past weekend. “A franchise known for tomfoolery? Absolutely not!”

As if to fire a warning shot to catch the Sky’s attention, Krick offered a history lesson that demonstrates Diggins’ outspoken persona. “While on maternity leave in 2023, she called out the Phoenix Mercury for cutting off her access to the practice facility. No massage therapist. No conditioning. No nutritionist…she blew them the f*** up online,” Krick pointed out.

Putting two and two together, the founder of “The Daily W” podcast cautioned the Sky to avoid meeting the same fate. “If she thinks there’s something going on that’s wrong, you think she’s not gonna have the f**king Chicago Tribune on speed dial?” Krick added.

This advice could certainly come across as unwarranted, if it weren’t for the fact that the Sky had been called out by their former franchise player just months ago. In a late September interview with the Tribune, Angel Reese blasted the front office for the job they’ve done with roster construction, saying that she wouldn’t be “settling for the same s*** we did” in the 2025 season.

If Reese, a second-year WNBA player at the time, could muster the audacity to slam her own organization, the highly vocal veteran Diggins can be expected to hold the Sky accountable if things go sideways. The question is, does the Sky know what they’re getting into?
