Draymond Green Names Who He Thinks is the Strongest Player in the NBA

Draymond Green knows strength. At a mere 6’5”, you wouldn’t think that he’s battled against some of the biggest and strongest players in the league. However, as one of the players who revolutionized the small-ball center position, Green has fought in the paint with some of the strongest players in the league.

But who is the strongest player in the league right now? As the game has gotten more focused on skills and less on brute force, there’s been a lack of powerful big men dominating the league. That doesn’t mean that there aren’t still some beasts throughout the league.

Draymond Green recently spoke on his podcast about who he thinks is the strongest player in the league today.

"I tell y’all what, man, Jalen Duren’s got to be one of the strongest guys I’ve ever played in my career. I spoke a while back about Jalen Duren being strong coming into the league, but not really knowing how to use the strength, but he wasn't soft. He just didn't really know how to apply the strength. Well, I'm here to tell you something, three four years later, he's by far the strongest player in the NBA. Dude's strong as hell, and he knows how to use it now."

Jalen Duren is built different. While he might not look as big in stature as players like Joel Embiid, he’s built like a rock. Every time Duren takes the court, you can tell that he is just that much stronger than his opponents, and it has made the Pistons one of the most formidable teams in the league. With a player like Duren locking down the paint, the Pistons have become one of the toughest teams in the league.
