Bradley Beal Offiically Becomes the Newest Member of the Los Angeles Clippers

The NBA off-season has been full of player movement thus far, and one team at the centre of all that has been the Phoenix Suns, a team that traded away Kevin Durant earlier in the summer. Now, they've made a move to get rid of another veteran, as the news has officially been confirmed that they've agreed to a contract buyout with underperforming guard Bradley Beal.

Unsurprisingly, he quickly drew plenty of interest from around the league, but now we know Beal's future, as it has been officially announced that he will be the newest member of the Los Angeles Clippers.

While he underperformed in Phoenix, Beal is still known as one of the best scorers in the NBA, and after Los Angeles moved Norman Powell in a deal that saw them land John Collins, he becomes the natural replacement at the two-guard spot. Even on a disappointing Suns team, Beal averaged 18 points a night over two seasons with the team, shooting just under 41% from three in that time, and with a need for scoring in LA alongside James Harden, Ivica Zubac and Kawhi Leonard, he'll be the perfect fit.

At 32-years of age, Beal has never been put in a better position to succeed in his NBA career thus far, and while the team will be relying on several injury-prone veterans to make a push in an extremely tough Western Conference, with an elite level scorer like Beal now on the team, the optimism is high for this team headed into the new season.
