Guershon Yabusele Reveals Why He Signed with the New York Knicks

This off-season was a fantastic one for the New York Knicks, and while the team may not be done, they've already added Jordan Clarkson and Guerschon Yabusele to their bench. This comes on the back of an Eastern Conference Finals run for the long suffering Knicks, and with the roster to be arguably the best team in the East this year, there are big things ahead.
That's one of the reasons that the team landed stretch-big Yabusele, who opened up on that decision in a recent interview with Giorgos Kyriakidis of BasketNews.
“First of all, you can tell that they have a special bonding between each other. When they go on the court together, it’s like they try to kill the other team. They know each other pretty well. They made it so far this year in the playoffs, but year after year, you can just see their progress.
So, for me, it was just natural, because I wanted to be part of this. It’s one of the toughest crowds, people know it. So, to be able to go there and be part of this is just something special.”
The 29-year old returned to the NBA this past season with the 76ers, posting 11 points a night in 70 games in 27 minutes, and with his size and shooting ability (38% from three), he's the perfect fit in New York.

At this point, Yabusele projects to be a key piece off the Knicks bench this season, and if he can take his game to a new level, not only could he be a Sixth Man of the Year candidate, but this team could become a genuine NBA title threat.
