Cooper Flagg Has The Highest Praise For The Golden State Warriors Dynasty
Jan 14, 2026
Cooper Flagg has been in the NBA for just a matter of months, but already, he's won the respect of the entire league as he's shown that he can potentially be the face of the Dallas Mavericks for a long, long time to come. At 19-years of age, Flagg is already averaging 19 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists, and now, things are looking up once more for the Dallas Mavericks.
In a recent interview, Flagg was asked about an upcoming opponent in the Golden State Warriors, and in his response, he showed the utmost respect to the iconic Warriors dynasty of the past 15 years.
“One of the greatest teams of all time if not the greatest. Just really entraining basketball.”
While most consider them one of the best teams in NBA history, Flagg went a step further to suggest they could be the best of all time, and given how ageless Steph Curry is combined with Klay Thompson, Draymond Green and a rotating cast, it's easy to see why.

Flagg may never end up being as good as Curry, but given how he respects this team, it's easy to see that they're the model that all NBA teams in the modern day are looking to build after. Ultimately, the Mavericks could have the young, long-term pieces around Flagg if they make the right moves going forward, but at the end of the day, it will be a struggle for anyone to replicate what we saw from the Warriors over a long period of time.
