Top ESPN Reporter Believes This Will be Giannis' Final Season in Milwaukee

The Milwaukee Bucks changed things up this offseason, and with the addition of Myles Turner, they've put together one of the best frontcourts in the NBA alongside two-time MVP Giannis Antetokounmpo. However, the latter's time in Milwaukee may be coming to an end, as reports emerged this week that he saw the New York Knicks as a genuine landing spot this summer.

That led to the two teams talking about a deal, but to this point, they weren't able to get anything done, although this led many to believe that he was planning his way out of Milwaukee. Now, ESPN's Brian Windhorst has all but confirmed that, revealing that people around the NBA are preparing for this to be Antetokounmpo's final season with the Bucks.

“You can hear by Giannis' own words and actions, he's thinking about it in the back of his mind too.”

Recently, Antetokounmpo admitted that his mind on his future in Milwaukee could change soon after committing to the team ahead of the 2025–26 season and another NBA Championship chase. While the Knicks were Giannis' first preferred destination, he hasn't ruled out landing elsewhere, with many teams around the NBA eyeing the summer of 2026 as the time to possibly land the star forward.

Of course, there's always the possibility that he remains in Milwaukee if the team makes the right decisions, but for now, all signs point to every other team in the league potentially chasing Giannis next summer.
