Hall of Fame Point Guard Praises Stephen Curry for All That He Does

Getting praise from all-time NBA greats is a big deal. There are tons of stars in the league today who don’t have the full respect of the generations before them. It may be because they are perceived as soft. Maybe they don’t play enough or don’t play hard enough when they do. That’s why when an NBA legend praises a current player, it holds a lot of weight.
Recently, Isaiah Thomas, widely regarded as one of the best point guards ever, went on NBA Showtime and praised one of the current point guards in the NBA.
"There's not been one night when he's put on a jersey, and the fans didn't get their money's worth. He gives them a pre-game show, an in-game show, and after the game, he's so generous with his time. As a role model, as a pro, a champion, as a Hall of Famer, as an athlete, he is everything we always wanted our players to represent. Steph Curry, number 30, he's the one."
There is no questioning that Stephen Curry is one of the greatest players of all time. Sure, he’s the best shooter ever, but his skills and domination over the last decade-plus go way beyond his shooting ability. Curry has a handle, passing vision, incredible rebounding for his size, and even some decent defensive chops. However, what makes him completely different from any other star in the league are the little things.

Curry always puts on a show. He always stops to give autographs to young fans. He always plays with joy and love of the game. In a league where there are tons of players resting games and not putting 100% effort in every night, this really stands out.
We will never see another guy like Curry. That’s not just because he is one of the most skilled and accomplished players ever, but also because of the class act and role model that he is.
