The Indiana Hoosiers Played a Tight Game Against Pro Team
Aug 12, 2025
The Indiana Hoosiers were locked in a tight battle on Monday as they took on Serbian team Mega Superbet.

The Hoosiers are playing some tune-up games against prominent teams. Indiana needed a major comeback to dispatch this Serbian team during the contest in Carolina, Puerto Rico.
The Serbian team jumped out to a 14-3 lead and led by double digits at the end of the first three quarters. The Indiana team, however, was able to storm back, turning a 13-point third-quarter deficit into a stirring 81-80 victory.
The charge was led by Taylon Conerway, who scored 18 points during the game. Also contributing were Sam Alexis’s 15 points and Lamar Wilkerson, who had 17 points. The team captain and center Tucker DeVries chipped in 13 points and added five rebounds.
This will be the first season for new Head Coach Darian DeVries. DeVries began his head coaching career at Drake, spending six seasons there before moving to West Virginia for one season. The one season was enough to convince Indiana that he should be their next coach.
Indiana lured DeVries away from West Virginia by nearly doubling his salary, offering him $5 million over six seasons. Indiana has had trouble finding a long-term coach since Tom Crean. Archie Miller and Mike Woodson each lasted a couple of years in the position before being dismissed despite winning records.
Tucker DeVries is the only Indiana player currently on draft radars, though there are several members of the Hoosiers who could move up draft boards.
