KAT Chides Knicks Teammate For Overshadowing His Signature Moment

Karl-Anthony Towns jokingly ripped his teammate Jalen Brunson for overshadowing one of his major Knicks moments just a day later.

All things considered, Karl-Anthony Towns had an excellent first season as a Knick. He made the All-Star team for the fifth time and was also named Third Team All-NBA. The team also went to the Eastern Conference finals, where they were dispatched by the Indiana Pacers.

Towns created a great partner for Jalen Brunson, even if he was sometimes overshadowed by the point guard. Brunson was Second-Team All-NBA and also won the league's Clutch Player of the Year Award.

And according to Towns, the game after he hit a game-winning shot in the series against the Pistons, he was overshadowed by Brunson who hit sa game-winner in the next game to close the Pistons out.

While speaking with Carmelo Anthony for 7 PM Brooklyn, Towns noted:

"That shot was crazy! That was just one of those moments where it's just like, you know, when you see him do the crossover, you know he's about to make it. So I was waiting to see what celly he was going to pull out with it. It was funny, though, because I laughed with him after the game, because I said it's so funny that the game before, I was hitting those shots. He comes back and he makes his game-winner look way better than mine."

Towns would have plenty more highlights as the Knicks were able to dispatch long-time rival Boston in the next roundf and he could have even more big Knicks moments in the coming season.
