This season, Nikola Jokic is the frontrunner for MVP of the National Basketball Association, and if he does indeed come away with the winner, it will be his fourth award in the past six seasons. In that time, many believe that he should have won five straight, as the Denver Nuggets star has been on a level so high that we've seen few reach it in NBA history.

While he's not a popular pick to make the top-10 players list in NBA history as of right now, that doesn't mean that players agree, as some have declared him as one of the best players to ever play the game. The latest person to do so is long-time rival Kevin Durant, who made it clear just what he thought of Jokic's standing in NBA history with his latest comments.

"Arguably one of the Top 10 players, five players that I've ever seen play basketball."

Durant makes no secret of how good he thinks Jokic is, stating that he's arguably top-10, if not top-five in NBA history, a spot usually reserved for players such as Michael Jordan, LeBron James, and Kareem Abdul-Jabbar.

Following a slow start to his career, Jokic is now averaging 22 points, 11 rebounds, and seven assists per game, with the star big man averaging a triple-double over the past two seasons. Ultimately, he may need to win another championship before being considered a top-10 player of all-time, but as of right now, there's no telling just how high he could climb on that list.
