Jalen Brunson Injury Has New York Knicks Fans Sweating On His Health Moving Forward

The New York Knicks have been building one of the most impressive core groups in the NBA in recent years, and after an Eastern Conference Finals run last season, the hope for the team is that 2025–26 can be their year in the Eastern Conference. They're off to a very solid start in their first season under Mike Brown, with the team going 7–4 through their first 11 games. With some of the biggest stars in the East, this team is full of optimism, having already made some big statements early.

However, that optimism is now being tested, as superstar point guard Jalen Brunson went down with a rolled ankle during the team's latest defeat at the hands of the Orlando Magic.

Unfortunately, the initial update on Brunson wasn't great, as it has been revealed that he left the arena in a walking boot and on crutches, which clearly has Knicks fans praying for Brunson's health moving forward.

Thankfully for the Knicks, this is a team that can handle a loss or two in their rotation for a few games, but given how important No. 11 is to their success, any type of lengthy absence would be a brutal one for this organization.

This season, Brunson is averaging 28, 4, and 7, and with the team spreading the success around this roster, they appear ready for success. And now, Knicks fans and the team eagerly await an update on the status of their superstar leader.
