3 Insane Stats From Nikola Jokic's Monster Performance Against The Clippers
Nov 14, 2025
Just when you think Nikola Jokic’s numbers can’t get even more mind-blowing, he turns in yet another awe-inspiring performance that looks like a video game simulation.
Call Jokic a cheat code, perhaps, but the label of MVP candidate is by no means premature for this incomparable center of modern basketball. Jokic gave statisticians a hard time once more when he led the Denver Nuggets to a 130-116 victory over the Los Angeles Clippers on Wednesday.
With all due respect to his teammates, Aaron Gordon and Jamal Murray, Jokic was the only Nugget worth talking about in this impressive road win. In more ways than one, it appeared that the Clippers’ collective effort did not stand a chance against the onslaught of the Joker.
Here are three astonishing stats from Jokic’s masterful display of talent inside Intuit Dome.
He outscored the Clippers’ starting unit
James Harden is a former MVP and scoring champion. On any given night, he can drop 30 or even flirt with 40 as his fellow starters chip in buckets as well.
It’s one thing for Jokic to outgun Harden, and it’s another thing for the big Serbian to surpass the scoring contributions of all five Clippers starters. On Wednesday, Harden pumped in 23 points, Ivica Zubac contributed 18, and the combination of John Collins, Derrick Jones Jr., and Kris Dunn added 13 points.
That’s a total of 54 points. Jokic, meanwhile, had a 55-point performance all by himself. That’s insane.
The Joker had nearly as many free-throw attempts as the entire Clippers team
Throughout the game, there were many instances when Jokic treated the Clippers’ defense like it was, well, a joke. Unable to properly contain the three-time MVP, the Clippers fouled him again and again, resulting in 15 free throw attempts.
That number, in and of itself, would raise a few eyebrows. In the proper context, though, this free-throw stat line commands respect, as Jokic was just four attempts away from equaling the free-throw shots taken by the entire Clippers team.
Jokic was extremely efficient in all shot categories

The Clippers’ defense could have used some improvement, but still, Jokic had to make his field goal attempts and free throws. In this particular game, it was easier to count the number of times that he missed, as he was putting the ball through the hoop time and time again.
Jokic took a total of 23 field goal attempts and bricked just five times. He shot 5-for-6 from beyond the arc while going 13-for-17 from two-point territory. At the same time, he wasn’t letting up from the charity stripe, where he went 14-for-16.
In short, Jokic made way more than he missed and outperformed the Clippers’ collective effort on offense. Even video game enthusiasts would have to admit that the Joker’s performance on November 12, 2025, is a fantasy come true.
