Donovan Mitchell Reveals Who He Believes The Best Player In The NBA Is

The NBA has always had massive stars leading the way, and while LeBron James has long been the face of the league, there's been some incredible stars around him. From Kevin Durant to Stephen Curry, this past generation has been lucky to see such incredible players leading the way, but now, the future appears to be taking over.

With Anthony Edwards, Cade Cunningham and Victor Wembanyama just to name a few, many believe that the league is in very good hands for the years to come. So just who is the best player in the league right now?

That's a question that's been debated for quite some time now, and with so many stars emerging, there's many candidates for that crown, but according to Cleveland's Donovan Mitchell, it's him.

“I gotta say me, always.”

Clearly, this is just Mitchell showing off his confidence, and while he's a six-time NBA All-Star, it's safe to say that he's not quite the best in the league. For most, that would be a debate between three-time MVP Nikola Jokic and reigning MVP Shai Gilgeous-Alexander, but given his play since arriving in Cleveland, Mitchell is clearly a top-10 player in the league right now.

Ultimately, this isn't a debate that means much to anyone beyond the fans, as everyone's opinion on the situation will be different, but given that he was asked, it's no surprise that Spida showed off his confidence and name himself as the NBA's best.
