One player who is defined by his dunks and athleticism is Vince Carter, and now, the former NBA star has addressed the 2026 event. In doing so, he named the following four players as his dream lineup for the 2026 NBA Slam Dunk Contest:

Amen Thompson, VJ Edgecombe, Shaedon Sharpe, and Stephon Castle.

In recent years, this event has failed to attract the stars that it once did when the likes of Michael Jordan and Vince Carter played a role, and now may be the time to lean into that.
