Minnesota Timberwolves Star Reveals He Will Likely Miss This Season's All-Star Game

The NBA All-Star Game is fast approaching, and while there's been plenty of complaints about the rosters put together, it should still be a fun event for the NBA world to come together and enjoy the sport. As of right now, the starting lineups in both conferences are filled with stars, and while there's still question marks over how hard the teams will play, the talent for this to be an intriguing event is there.

Unfortunately, we often see players pull out due to injury heading into the event, and now it appears as though that has begun. In a recent interview, Minnesota Timberwolves superstar Anthony Edwards has revealed that he may not be playing in the event, given how banged up he's been in recent times.

"I'm kinda banged up... I may not be playing."

This season, Edwards has been one of the top names in the NBA once more, averaging an impressive 30 points, 4 assists and 5 rebounds per game, and with these performances, it's easy to see why so many see him as a future face of the entire league.

While there were question marks over the weakness of the benches in both conferences, this will only make that worse, especially if Edwards does go on to miss the game. Ultimately though, this season is about an NBA Championship in Minnesota, so while Edwards would no doubt love to be healthy for the All-Star game, he knows there's much bigger stakes for him and the team in 2025/26.
