Giannis Antetokounmpo Has One Young Star Atop His Desired List Of Players To Play With

The Milwaukee Bucks appear ready to move on from Giannis Antetokounmpo, and while there's been plenty of success over the past decade, it makes sense for both the player and the organization for them to part ways now. As of right now, it's unclear if he'll be moved or where he's traded too if he is dealt, as there's been immense interest from Golden State, Portland, Los Angeles and Minnesota among other teams in the NBA.

While we don't know who the favorites are to land him, we do know of some interest that Giannis has in playing with particular players, with the Minnesota Timberwolves and Anthony Edwards 'at the top of his list'.

That reportedly doesn't mean he's actively pushing to land in Minnesota, but given how well that team is set up for success with Edwards, Jaden McDaniels and Rudy Gobert, he would be the perfect fit for the team. We know that Minnesota are ready to be aggressive in landing the two-time MVP, and with a star leading the way in Edwards, the combination would immediately make them one of the best duos in the NBA, while making the T-Wolves a genuine threat in the Western Conference.

Ultimately, this is the perfect fit for Giannis if the team can keep the core of Edwards, McDaniels and Gobert around him, and while it's not a guarantee that he ends up in Minnesota, if that's the way it plays out, it would be great for the team and the player.
