Los Angeles Clippers Reportedly Reveal Their Plan Heading Into The Trade Deadline

After another busy offseason, the Los Angeles Clippers entered the 2025–26 season with very high expectations, but early in the year, this was a team that was struggling. With a record of 11–21, they've managed to turn things around a little, but heading into the trade deadline, many still expected them to try and recoup some value from some of their veterans.

That may no longer be the case, as ESPN's Brian Windhorst is now reporting that the Clippers do not intend to be sellers this season, with the team clearly believing in their veterans moving forward.

Despite their poor record, the Clippers have won their last five games, and with Kawhi Leonard once again getting back to his best form, it's easy to see why the front office believes in this team. However, there's a major hill to climb in the Western Conference, but with just two games separating them and the final play-in team in the standings, the belief is clearly there.

One thing this Clippers team has dealt with this season is injuries, and if they can get healthy, they've proven over the past few weeks that they are capable of beating anyone in the league. Whether or not that translates into a red-hot second half and an appearance in the NBA Playoffs, only time will tell, but clearly, Steve Ballmer isn't giving up on this team and will continue to be aggressive in his pursuit of the ultimate goal in the NBA.
