WNBA Executive Calls on Angel Reese To Demand Trade From the 'Worst Run Team in the WNBA'
Sep 9, 2025
Angel Reese takes plenty of criticism from basketball fans, but in 2025, she's taken her game to the next level for the Chicago Sky. In 30 games this season, Reese has averaged an impressive 15 points and 13 boards, but despite all of her work, the Sky remain one of, if not the worst team in the entire WNBA.
This has caused Reese to lash out at some of her teammates, with the Sky superstar stating that this team needs some serious work, questioning whether she wants to stay long-term. Now, a WNBA executive has called Chicago the 'worst run organization in the league', campaigning for Reese to demand a trade from the team this off-season.
“She needs to get the hell out of there. Chicago is probably the worst-run organization in the league. You’re gonna suspend your best player just because she’s putting pressure on you to get better? That was embarrassing to see.”
That call comes after the team suspended her for half a game after calling out the performance of the rest of her team, and given the lack of talent around her, no one could blame her for the comments she made.

As of right now, there's no reason to doubt Reese's comments where she hinted a trade, even recently removing the 'Chi-town Barbie' nickname from her Instagram bio. Ultimately, Reese may take criticism, but she's performed admirably given the situation in Chicago, and if things don't change, don't be shocked to see her request a trade.
