Tyler Herro Reveals The Target Date For His Miami Heat Season Debut

The Miami Heat are off to a solid start in 2025/26 with a record of 9-6 through their first 15 games, and they've done so despite dealing with plenty of injuries. To this point, both Tyler Herro and Bam Adebayo have missed time, but now, it appears as though the former has locked in a potential date for his 2025/26 season debut.

According to reports, Herro, who has been out for the entire season thus far due to a posterior impingement syndrome issue in his left ankle is nearing his debut. That debut is likely to come on Monday against the Dallas Mavericks at home, as the Heat are likely to get their most dynamic scorer back ahead of what could be a crucial regular season for the organization.

Last season, Herro posted a career high of 24 points a night, leading Miami in scoring, and this season, with just Norman Powell over 20 points a night, they've clearly missed his scoring punch. However, this is a team that's still remained competitive in the Eastern Conference, and if they can get Herro back to 100%, he may be the piece that sparks this team to becoming a genuine contender once more this year.

Herro has battled through some injuries in his career, but at the age of 25, he's still got plenty of years ahead of him in the NBA, and if he can get back to 100% this season, it could be a fun one for him and the Heat.
