NBA Reporter Reveals The Extent Of Josh Hart's Current Injuries

The start to the 2025/26 season for New York Knicks star Josh Hart has been a rough one, as he has been relegated to the bench in a role that's unfamiliar for him in New York. While the Knicks are 3-2, the expectations for this team this year are sky high, so the last thing they need is to begin the regular season dealing with plenty of injury issues.

Unfortunately, Hart has dealt with plenty of those in recent years, and now, James Edwards of The Athletic has revealed some details on Hart's current situation.

While many have seen the gruesome look of Hart's middle finger on his shooting hand, Edwards reveals it's much more than that, as he seemingly has nerve damage throughout his entire hand. Not only does it effect him while playing basketball, but Hart reveals he can lose feeling in the hand doing every day tasks, something that is clearly effecting him on the court.

This all comes after Hart has dealt with injuries to his hip and back in recent years, with plenty of Knicks fans starting to feel concern for Hart and his current situation as they chase an NBA Championship in 2025/26. In 23 minutes per game over five appearances this year, Hart is averaging just 5 points a night, and while the expectation is that he'll get through this and be ready come playoff time, this latest report must be of major concern to the team and their fans.
