NBA Reporter Reveals That Anthony Davis Now Expects To Be Traded By the Dallas Mavericks

As of late, Anthony Davis has been one of the biggest topics of speculation in the NBA, with the Dallas Mavericks reportedly weighing up the future of the All-NBA big man. That comes as a result of his constant injury issues, but when he's on the floor, Davis has once again been a star in limited games played for the Mavericks.

In his last game against the Denver Nuggets, Davis put up 32 points, 13 boards, and three assists, showing once again why he's considered an All-NBA caliber player. It’s this type of performance that is seemingly motivating the Mavericks to test the waters on a trade, as the team would likely be best suited to get a good return on him now, rather than wait for another major injury to strike.

We've heard plenty about this situation, but as of yet, there's been little on what Davis thinks about a potential trade. Now, Dallas Hoops Journal is reporting that AD is expecting to be traded.

It's unclear as of right now who the favorite is to land Davis in a potential blockbuster, but given what he brings on both ends of the floor, whoever lands him could see the ceiling of their team and their future completely shift.

Any trade of Davis comes with inherent risk given his history of injury, so we will see how all this plays out, but as of right now, the team and AD himself expect some type of trade to be worked out in the coming weeks and months.
