Luka Goes Viral for Interview on Hot Ones YouTube Show

Luka Doncic is on a historic media tour. It seems like ever since he was traded to the Los Angeles Lakers last season, his agents have kicked his media appearances into hyperdrive. This was the summer of Luka. After finally getting into shape, Luka went on a media tour with multiple interviews, commercials, magazine covers, and everything in between.

Luka is showing everyone his new body and why the Dallas Mavericks should regret ever having traded him. He is also showing us all that there is a new face of basketball in Los Angeles, and it is no longer LeBron James. 

As part of his whirlwind media tour, Luka went on the famous Hot Ones YouTube show, where he was interviewed while eating progressively hotter hot wings. The footage instantly went viral. 

While Luka was dying of heat from some of the world’s hottest wings, he had some very interesting quotes.

When asked about the best crowd he’s witnessed, he said, “The best crowd, I mean the toughest, where I had to play, was in the playoffs against Panathinaikos. I basically couldn’t hear my teammate next to me, so it was insane. And we started losing the game 20–0.”

He also spoke about his favorite NBA moment so far, “Probably that Western Conference Finals game winner—the three against Minnesota. That was one of my favorites. And the Clippers, I think it was 2020 in the bubble. So, I would say those two.”

He didn’t talk much about the landscape of the NBA or what he is expecting from this NBA season, but he did answer who he thinks the best two 1-on-1 players in the league are.

“I feel like Wemby is gonna be there, because 1-on-1, you can't score on him. It's very tough. Second one, I'd probably put Kyrie in there. His 1-on-1 moves are insane.”

So while we didn’t get any fiery hot takes while Luka ate his fiery wings, all NBA fans were entertained watching this superhuman basketball player struggle to eat some little chicken wings.
