Giannis Antetokounmpo Officially States That He'll Never Request A Trade From The Milwaukee Bucks

Giannis Antetokounmpo and the Milwaukee Bucks are sitting at 16–21 on the current season, and with all of the rumors circling the two-time MVP, this hasn't been a fun ride thus far. However, nothing has happened through 37 games that would suggest, contrary to popular opinion, that Antetokounmpo is on the way out.
This past summer, talks between the Bucks and New York Knicks seemingly got close, but nothing happened, with the feeling around the league being that unless he officially demands a deal, no trade will come to fruition. Now, Antetokounmpo has officially addressed that speculation, noting that he does not intend to ever go to the Bucks and demand a trade.
“There will never be a chance, and there will never be a moment, that I will come out and say, ‘I want a trade’… That’s not in my nature. OK?”
If he truly wanted out, he would likely have been dealt already, but given how loyal he has been to the organization thus far, it's become incredibly clear that Antetokounmpo has no desire to leave now or in the near future.

In 23 games this season, the two-time MVP has averaged 30 points, 10 rebounds, and 5.5 assists per game, and while the team has struggled overall, when he's healthy, there's still confidence that they can compete in the Eastern Conference. Ultimately, though, there's a chance that Antetokounmpo could one day change his mind, but if he doesn't, we may be looking at another loyal star like Kobe Bryant, Tim Duncan, or Dirk Nowitzki who spends his whole career in one place.
