Draymond Green Makes Major Prediction About The Warriors Chances This Season
Sep 1, 2025
This generation in the NBA has been all about the Golden State Warriors, but now, the majority of their key pieces are coming towards the back end of their careers. However, landing Jimmy Butler at the deadline last season gave this organization the jolt it needed, and with the lineup looking different, hopes are high for the upcoming season.
One of the key parts of this team is their depth, with Jonathan Kuminga and Moses Moody making up the leaders of this talented bench, but in the tough Western Conference, it will be tough to compete. That's seemingly not something they're worried about, as Draymond Green recently made a major declaration about this team for 2025/26.
“We getting that b***h this year.”
After what was clearly a good workout, Green made the declaration to the camera that the Warriors are 'getting that b***h this year, declaring he believes they can win their fifth NBA Championship as a group. That group looks a little different than their last run involving Klay Thompson, but with the addition of Butler and some intriguing young players, this is never an organization to take lightly.

In the West though, there are no shortage of contenders, with Oklahoma City, Minnesota, Houston and Denver among others all laying claim to being genuine NBA title threats for the upcoming season. While some may not like Green, it's easy to understand why he's so confident, as this is a team that's done it time and time again over the past 12 years, so in 2025/26, don't take the Warriors lightly.
