Devin Booker Reveals That He Doesn't See Himself Leaving Phoenix

Back in the 2015 NBA Draft, the Phoenix Suns landed Devin Booker with the No. 13 overall pick, and unsurprisingly, it's turned out to be one of the best decisions the franchise has ever made. In the 10 years since, Booker has been through plenty of ups and downs, including an NBA Finals run back in 2021, but since that point, it's been all downhill for the franchise.

Following that run, they acquired Kevin Durant by giving up some key pieces, as well as Bradley Beal, but after that didn't work out, the team moved on, and may be headed for another dark period. Surprisingly, that doesn't seem to bother Booker too much, as he's made it clear that he's loyal to this organization and wants to remain with the Suns moving forward.

“So I know Steph Curry holds a special place in everybody’s heart here in the Bay. And I feel a similar type of love in Phoenix. It’s something special. It’s kind of hard to explain, but there’s a different type of love that comes with it. I wouldn’t want it any other way.”

Unfortunately for Booker, it's highly unlikely that he'll experience the same type of success as Steph Curry has with the Warriors, but the loyalty has to be commended.

There is always the possibility that Booker gets frustrated and wants out, but for now, he's remained loyal throughout his time in Phoenix, and if all of the coaching and roster changes haven't effected him, there's a good chance he remains a Sun for life.
