Anonymous Member of the Clippers Calls Kawhi Leonard's Tenure 'A Nightmare'

Kawhi Leonard's situation is one of the most interesting in the NBA, and given the investigation going on around him, it may be about to change in a big way. While no sanctions have come down on the Clippers or Leonard as of yet, there has been speculation that the situation involving Aspiration could end in his contract being voided.

Leonard may be an immense talent on the basketball court, but away from the court, he's rubbing people in the organization the wrong way, to the point where many would be happy if Leonard's contract were voided. That comes from an anonymous source within the organization, who called his tenure there a 'nightmare', while also revealing that many will be happy when he's no longer a part of the Clippers.

“This has been a nightmare. He’s an incredibly talented player when he’s healthy, but as everyone knows, he’s rarely healthy, and his camp is just so difficult to deal with. His time here, thankfully, is coming to an end soon.”

This is a scathing indictment of Leonard's character, but given what we've learned about his demands in free agency before landing with the Clippers, it shouldn't come as a massive shock that those behind the scenes don't like him.

Despite the organization giving in to many of those demands, Kawhi has still struggled to play more than 60 games per season, and whether his deal is void or he departs as a free agent, there are many in the organization who can't wait to see him leave.
