Steph Curry Becomes The 22nd Highest Point Scorer In NBA History
Nov 19, 2025
Stephen Curry came into the NBA with immense hype after his time at Davidson, and despite some early injury woes in his time with the Golden State Warriors, he's clearly turned things around. Not only that, but he's cemented his place in NBA history as the greatest shooter of all time, leading a modern-day dynasty in Golden State to four NBA Championships alongside Klay Thompson and Draymond Green.
Now, Curry continues to make history, as his latest performances see him pass Vince Carter for No. 22 on the NBA's all-time scoring leaderboard with an impressive 25,749 points.
While Curry is now 37 years of age, he continues to play at a high level, averaging 28 points a game for the first 13 games of the 2025–26 regular season. If he continues at that level, the likes of Kevin Garnett, John Havlicek, Paul Pierce, and Tim Duncan are all in range this season, with that quartet all having 26,500 points or less.

For years, a player like Curry may have struggled to score at a consistent pace in the NBA, but given his off-ball movement and talent for shooting beyond the arc like no other player in league history, he has broken the mold. With years left on his side, there's no reason that Curry couldn't end up scoring thousands more points before retirement, and with the top 15 in sight, we may see him continue to climb this leaderboard over the next few seasons if he stays healthy.
