Ridiculous Stat Shows Just How Elite Nikola Jokic Has Been In His Career
Oct 27, 2025
Last season, Nikola Jokic averaged a triple-double for the first time in his NBA career, and while he didn't come away with the MVP award, the consensus is that he remains the best player in the NBA. Already in his career, Jokic is a three-time MVP, and at 30 years of age, he's putting himself in the conversation as one of the greatest big men that the league has ever seen.
In just 10 full seasons, Jokic has now compiled 166 career triple-doubles after putting up two straight to start the season, with the Nuggets at 1-1 in those two games. However, it's another triple-double statistic that shows just how ridiculously dominant Jokic has been, as he accomplished a feat for the 69th time in the Nuggets' last game.
According to the NBA, Jokic's latest triple-double was the 69th time in his career he recorded one before the fourth quarter even began, showing that he's simply one of the most dominant and well-rounded players we've ever seen. With 166 triple-doubles overall, Jokic ranks third in NBA history, with Russell Westbrook now just 37 ahead of him with a ridiculous 203 of his own.

When it's all said and done, Jokic may find himself regarded as one of the top 10 players in league history, with a dominant peak at the level we've rarely seen, and if he continues this level, there's no reason why he doesn't retire as the NBA's triple-double king.
