Moses Moody Talks About What It's Like Playing with Al Horford

The Golden State Warriors might be brewing something interesting. Now that they have a complete roster, they are starting to build the team chemistry for what they hope will become a title-contending team.

While everyone expects Stephen Curry, Draymond Green, and Jimmy Butler to bring it, how great the Warriors are may depend more on their role players. Two of the most important of those role players are Moses Moody and Al Horford.

Moody spoke after the Warriors’ preseason game against the Los Angeles Lakers about how it felt to play with his new teammate, Horford.

“Professionally, that dude’s been in the league most of my life. He has that feel, he has the presence out there on the court, so it felt good to play with him.”

This is exactly what the Warriors were hoping to get by bringing Horford onto the roster. Not only does Horford have championship experience, but he is also a former All-Star with a long track record of excellence on both ends of the floor.

Both Horford and Moody looked great in the Warriors' preseason game against the Lakers. Moody was 7-for-9 from the field, scoring 19 points in under 15 minutes of playing time. Horford, on the other hand, only took three shots, but chipped in with four rebounds and three assists. He was most impressive on the defensive end though, with three blocks and a steal in his 14 minutes of playing time.

If Moody and Horford can reliably contribute like this throughout the season, the Warriors could be one of the most dangerous teams in the Western Conference this season.
