Teams Around the NBA Reportedly Keeping A Close Eye on Darius Garland's Situation in Cleveland

Last season, the Cleveland Cavaliers were the best regular season team in the Eastern Conference, dominating the league as they sealed the No. 1 seed in the East. While they didn't go on to have playoff success due to injuries, many expected them to hit the ground running again in 2025/26, but unfortunately, that hasn't quite happened.

With a record of 14-11 through 25 games, this is still a very competitive team, but given the talented core that they've built, it's safe to say that they're underperforming in a big way. That's led to some question marks over some pieces of this team, with insiders speculating that the Cavs could look to shake things up at some point moving forward.

The biggest potential piece that could be moved? All-Star point guard Darius Garland, with many speculating that he has been on the trade block for quite some time, with Insiders now reporting that teams around the league are keeping a close eye on his situation.

It's unclear if the Cavaliers are currently interested in moving Garland, but if they want to shake things up, he's a player that will potentially net them a very good return.

With the likes of Donovan Mitchell and Evan Mobley being the two core pieces of this Cavaliers team, Garland and Jarrett Allen are potentially the only starters up for sale, and while nothing is yet confirmed, this is a move we could see at some point in 2025/26.
