Knicks Key Guard Injured In First Game Since Returning From Injury

The New York Knicks have positioned themselves as genuine NBA Championship threats in 2025/26, and after making the Eastern Conference Finals a year ago, hopes are high. While all eyes are on Jalen Brunson and Karl-Anthony Towns leading the way, this is a squad full of depth, with the bench being one of the best in the entire NBA.

Perhaps the most important player off the bench for this team is Miles 'Deuce' McBride, who has grown and grown in his role for New York in his career. In 36 games this season, he has posted career highs across the board with 13 points, 3 rebounds and 3 assists per game, and given their depth, he's a key piece of what they do off the bench.

Unfortunately, he has played in just 36 games due to a sports hernia surgery, and on Sunday, he officially returned against the Oklahoma City Thunder. In that game however, he was once again injured, with the team now sweating on his health after he left the game due to another injury as he battled for a ball on the floor.

As of right now, it's unclear whether or not he'll miss any time, but given how much his offensive means to the bench, they need him healthy if they are to compete with the top teams in the East such as Boston and Detroit when the NBA Playoffs get started.
