Dillon Brooks Talks About His Beef With LeBron James
Dec 18, 2025
Dillon Brooks is one of the NBA’s top villains. Ever since his days in Memphis, Brooks has been a polarizing player. Sometimes he looks like one of the best players on the court, and other times he looks like a pest who is more interested in bothering the other team than actually helping his team win.
Brooks recently got into it again with LeBron James, one of his biggest foes. Brooks and James have a history going back to a playoff series between the Memphis Grizzlies and the Los Angeles Lakers.

Dillon Brooks discussed his on-court issues and recent beef with LeBron James.
"I've got to find a way to channel the emotion properly. That's been my problem throughout my whole career—I let those things happen, and then I'm off the floor. At the end of the day, how much people hate on me and say I'm not a good player, but when I'm on the floor, it changes the whole game. [As for LeBron], I don't know what he was upset about. I guess he's a social media junkie. He be all over the socials, so he be seeing what I'm saying. When I go out there, he thinks people should think a certain way about him or not say anything about him. I'm not going to play that way. He gets in his moods or his modes or whatever it is, and I'm all for that."
Brooks knows how important he is. His antics certainly bring an edge to whatever team he plays for. However, sometimes he crosses the line and starts affecting his own game or his team’s chances at winning.
He certainly doesn’t have much love for “The King,” and will continue to let everyone know that whenever he has a chance.
