Stephen Curry Keeps Positive Mindset Despite Another Heartbreaking Warriors Loss

The Golden State Warriors could have been on a five-game winning streak. Before their loss to the Toronto Raptors, they were on a three-game winning streak and were feeling pretty good. Then they blew a fourth-quarter lead in ugly fashion, sending the team back to a .500 record.

Every time the Warriors seem to show a little momentum, they come crashing back to mediocrity. Still, Stephen Curry isn't letting the Warriors' lackluster season get to him. After the loss, this is what Curry had to say. "I just have so much fun playing the game. I love my teammates, I love the fight to win games every single night. I obviously want to win at the highest level again and have that experience, but nights like tonight with that back-and-forth, you know that when it's all said and done, you're gonna miss it. So I'm trying to get the most out of it."

The Warriors are losing clutch games and have a terrible record compared to expectations. And yet, Curry is still keeping a positive perspective.

Part of this is because there’s not much more Curry can do. Curry is playing like an All-NBA star despite being 37 years old. He is defying the odds, but his teammates aren’t playing up to his level.

For some stars, this could drive them crazy. Curry, however, isn’t like most stars. Having won as much as Curry has brings some perspective that not a lot of other players have. He isn’t desperate to win it all; he’s already done it.
