Jaylen Brown's Father Arrested For Attempted Murder

Marselles Brown, the father of Boston Celtics star Jaylen Brown, has been arrested for attempted murder after allegedly stabbling a man in Las Vegas. 

Accoridng to the TMZ report, Brown's father was in an argument with another man over a parking space. As the men squared up to fight, Brown allegedly pulled out a knife and stabbed the victim several times in the stomach. 

The victim was eventually treated at a Las Vegas histpiral and remains in critical condition. Brown's father, a seven-foot-tall former boxer, was eventually taken in by police. A report from TMZ reads: 

"When cops caught up with Brown, they observed abrasions on his knees and his face was bleeding ... and spontaneously stated the whole ordeal was sparked over a door ding. Brown also received treatment at the hospital for a broken toe, scraped knees and an abrasion on his right cheek."

The report from TMZ also notes that the Celtics superstar does not have a close relationship with his father and Jaylen Brown has yet to to comment on the situation. 

Brown will be entering a year of change with the Boston Celtics. He will be the focal point of the offense for a team that will be missing Jayson Tatum this season and will also be without Jrue Holliday, Kristaps Porzingis, Al Horford and Luke Kornet. This will allow him to take an even further then towards superstardom. Brown has been pretty great already as the small forward has been named to four All-Star teams and helped Boston win the 2024 NBA Championship.
