Wolves Predicted to Sign This Guard to Round Out Roster

According to the Athletic's Jon Krawczynski, the Minnesota Timberwolves will likely sign guard Bones Hyland to round out the rest of their roster.

The list of current unsigned NBA free agents is very impressive and full of talented veterans. The problem for many of these players is that they are running out of roster spaces to fill in.
The Minnesota Timberwolves are coming off two outstanding seasons that saw them reach the Western Conference Finals two seasons in a row.
The team didn't have all that much work to do in the offseason and took care of business by signing power forward Julius Randle to a contract extension.
The Timberwolves do have one more piece of business, signing a 15h player to their active roster. And according to beat writer Jon Krawcyznski, that 15th man is going to be Bones Hyland. He wrote in a column for The Athletic:
"All indications are that Bones Hyland is the front-runner to get that final spot, league sources said. Hyland signed a two-way contract with the Wolves in February, played briefly in Iowa and spent the rest of his time with the Timberwolves. He appeared in four games for the Wolves last season and was a first-round draft pick of Timberwolves president of basketball operations Tim Connelly when Connelly was in Denver."
Hyland has been a valuable bench player since he was drafted into the league by the Denver Nuggets. He had some impressive years with Denver before he moved onto the Los Angeles Clippers and he played a few games for Minnesota last year.
