Stephen Curry Speaks About One Disappointment From This Season
Mar 12, 2026
The Golden State Warriors' season hasn’t gone exactly as planned. The early portion of the season included injuries to a bunch of role players as well as the drama surrounding the Jonathan Kuminga trade request. Then, right as the Warriors seemed to be hitting their stride, Jimmy Butler tore his ACL, and everything went downhill from there. Curry is now out with a knee injury, and the Warriors are slowly falling down the Western Conference standings.

Another disappointment of the Warriors' season is that we’ve barely gotten to watch Stephen Curry and Seth Curry share the court together. Injuries to both players have made it so they haven’t gotten to play together much.
Steph was asked about playing on the same team as his brother and said this:
“It’s been very disappointing because injuries have kind of robbed us of some moments so far, but I think all of our energy is towards finishing the year strong. It’s on me now to get back. Seth’s been working relentlessly over the last couple of months to get back, and you saw the work pay off. Now it’s my turn, hopefully it won’t be too long and #30 and #31 will be out there.”
Everyone knows that Curry is itching to get back on the court. He’s missed the last few weeks with a knee injury and isn’t expected back very soon. However, now that his brother is finally healthy, Curry has some extra motivation to get back on the court.
Even if the Warriors' season hasn’t been a success, it would be awesome to watch the Curry brothers get some minutes together to end the season.
