Milwaukee Bucks Actively Shopping Star Forward And His Massive Contract
Dec 30, 2025
The Milwaukee Bucks entered 2025β26 as a potential top contender in the Eastern Conference, but to be a true contender, they needed many things to go their way. One of those was to get an increased level of play from the likes of Kyle Kuzma and Kevin Porter Jr., but thus far, they haven't taken the steps forward that the front office and the coaching staff would have liked.
While many see this as a team that's ready to make a blockbuster move involving Giannis Antetokounmpo, the more likely outcome is that they make other moves to surround the two-time MVP with more talent. Now, we know one player who is shopping, with reports from Evan Sidery revealing that the team is aggressively shopping Kuzma for an upgrade on the wing.
The 30-year-old has been solid, but with just 13 points a game and five rebounds a night, it's safe to say that they expected so much more from him when they acquired him in a deal with the Washington Wizards.

In previous years, Kuzma has played key roles in the postseason, and in replacing Khris Middleton, the Bucks were hoping that he could do the same for them. Ultimately, though, he's struggled mightily, being ousted from the starting lineup to play a backup role on the bench, and given that he's owed $22.4 million per year, it's easy to see why the Bucks are so aggressively trying to move him.
